Capturing the Castle in Words

Capturing the Castle in Words is a poetry project giving the opportunity for participants to explore their creativity and imagination, creating poetry inspired by Bailey Hill. Three sessions were delivered at the end of 2019, two sessions were provided for students at Ysgol Bryn Gwalia and Ysgol Glanrafon and a third session was delivered at Mold Library. Re-imagining Bailey Hill

Re-imagining Bailey Hill has been developed in partnership with Theatr Clwyd who has enormous experience of delivering engaging events and projects for young people. As a regional theatre they have an excellent reputation across Wales and beyond - and they’ve developed many productions that explore Welsh History. Being located less than a mile from Bailey Hill, Theatr Clwyd is a natural partner for this project and one that will help spread its messages far and wide....read more

A Different View

A Different View aims to help visitors discover a different perspective during their visit. This project will involve two community groups and four groups from local primary schools who will work with an artist to create dispersed sculptures and art works around Bailey Hill. These will be made with natural materials and will sit lightly in the natural and historic landscape....read more
